For the truths that concern the relations between God and man
wholly transcend the visible order of things, and,
if they are translated into human action and influence it,
they call for self-surrender and abnegation.
CCC 37 (Pius XII)
Finally, brothers, rejoice. Mend your ways, encourage one another, agree with one another,
live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Cor 13:11
Encouraging Surrender to God
God tells us to "encourage one another" in our spiritual lives, and one of the best ways to do this is to share the challenges God has helped us to overcome and the blessings He has showered on us as we give ourselves totally to Him. In this section I will share some of the many amazing ways God has worked in my life.
God's miracles in my life gradually led me to a deep faith in Him. Just as Jesus didn't turn the water into just any wine, but the finest wine anyone had ever tasted, as we put ourselves fully in His hands, He does the same for us by amazing us over and over with His perfect loving guidance and support.
Coincidences or "Godcidences"?
Throughout these stories, you will see numerous examples of situations in which a person or other condition necessary for something to occur "just happened" to be present. If it was an isolated situation, you might be led to chalk that up to chance, but when it happens over and over again, it goes far beyond any reasonable odds as an indication of how God works in the lives of those who love Him and trust Him with their lives.
